WWW Wednesday

I haven’t had much time to blog lately. The fiance moved in and life’s been a whirlwind…. But I have time for another quick WWW post!

WWW is a weekly meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

The Three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What I’m Currently Reading

I’m currently reading two books – one on Audible and one on Kindle.

A Cranberry Inn Christmas by Beth Ehemann

Stanley Cup playoffs start tonight and so I doubt I’ll do much reading! But I’m sure to be able to squeeze in this novella about a group of players for the Minnesota Wild. Fitting since the Wild is actually in the playoffs this week, no?

Zack by Sawyer Bennett

I know, I know. You get it. I like hockey. Well, I do! And hockey romances like Sawyer Bennett’s Cold Fury series are part of what made the spark of my love for the sport burst into the flame that it did this year! Again, with the playoffs starting I don’t know how much time I’ll have to read/listen. But I’m going to try!

What I Recently Finished

Made You Up by Francesca Zappia

made you up

This book… whoa! Thanks to my bestie for the rec on this one. This story about a teenage schizophrenic was engrossing. I was riveted and constantly begging said bestie to tell me what was real and what wasn’t. Sadly, she never gives me any spoilers.

Anywho, I highly recommend this one!

The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Macklerearth

Another YA that I really liked. Maybe because it was about a plus size high schooler named Virginia who feels inferior to the rest of her family and basically everyone everywhere? Hello? I’ve said books were about me before but this one literally could be about me! I adored Virginia and cheered her on her journey to self acceptance. I think you would too!

What I’ll Read Next

I fully intend to keep the hockey vibe going with a Rookie Move, by Sarina Bowen. Then I’m going to try again to read Waiting for Prince Harry. Nothing against you, Aven Ellis. I just got distracted and never started the book. Finally, I’m planning on trying out the new Audible Romance Book Club’s selection, Bittersweet, also by Sarina Bowen.

Again, all of this is only if my Stanley Cup watching time allows me to read. LOL. So, what are you reading???
