The Big One

By Anne Marsh

Quick audio review here:

I didn’t love this one and it makes me sad. The narration was great (you can always count on Webber and Diorio for that), but the romance was rushed and there was zero character development. And that’s a shame because we had the start of something great here.

Hunter is a firefighter. A sexy one that battles the giant forest fires in. California. Lola is a spunky actress and playwright. They bond over their recent heartbreaks and quickly move from friends to lovers. Sadly, the movement is so quick that when real feelings develop, it’s completely unbelievable to the listener.

This could’ve been a winner, instead it was a miss for me.
