Tiger Eyes

by Judy Blume

I’ve started a new book challenge for 2018! It’s The Ultimate Reading Challenge, hosted by Reading Frenzy Book Blog and Collectors of Book Boyfriends and Girlfriends!

January’s challenge is to re-read an old favorite. I have loved Judy Blume since elementary school! When I saw that the audio for Tiger Eyes was available for rent from the local public library, I jumped at the chance!

Upon re-reading I found that, despite a few references to Jean Nate and a few other 1980’s delights, this book is still incredibly relevant to today. Davey is so relatable – and so is the pain she is going through.

Quite impressive. Judy Blume is the queen of YA and with great reason. This book is as entertaining as it is thought provoking.

4 potatoes!
